  1. Respiratory disorders, such as sleep apnea and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  2. Certain types of cancer, such as prostate cancer, intestine in men, breast cancer and cervical cancer in women
  3. Coronary heart disease
  4. Depression
  5. Diabetes
  6. Leprosy or gallbladder disease
  7. Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
  8. High blood pressure
  9. High cholesterol
  10. Diseases of the joints (such as osteoarthritis) due to the support of the body carry excess weight
  11. Stroke
People who are obese may have symptoms of the above mentioned medical conditions. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, respiratory problems, and joint pain (in the knee or lower back) often occur.

The more fat a person is, the more likely they are to have medical problems associated with obesity. In addition, obese people tend to be lazy, to move because of the weight of body weight so fat people tend to easily drowsy because of the slow metabolism of his body.

Doctors will also use other measurements such as waist size to evaluate health risks associated with abdominal fat. When BMI and waist size indicate a health problem, there will be additional checks suggested by a doctor such as an EKG examination, a blood check to determine the condition of cholesterol, gout, and so on.
