Health Lav89 - The Majority of Lung Cancers. Lung cancer is a condition characterized by the presence of malignant tumors in lung tissue. Lung cancer is known as pulmonary carcinoma or pulmonary carcinoma. There are two types of lung cancer: small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) and non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC).

However, in developing countries, the results are significantly lower. Official data from 2012 confirmed that lung cancer kills about one and a half million people annually.

Pulmonary carcinoma can be categorized in several stages that refers to the extent of cancer tissue spread. Treatment for lung cancer, including surgery, drugs (chemotherapy), and radiation therapy.
